The Dental Implant Process
The first step in the dental implants process is a consultation during which we will discuss all your tooth replacement options. A good candidate for dental implant placement must have sufficient bone density in his or her jaw to support the implants.
Once we determine that you are a good candidate, Dr. Simanovich will surgically implant the titanium roots into your jaw. After the implant has completely fused with your jawbone, you return to our office and we will custom-craft replacement teeth that attach to the artificial roots.
If you need to have teeth extracted in preparation for dentures, we can place your dental implants immediately after surgery. We fabricate your dentures beforehand and then place the implants in the ideal position to support the restoration. This means you can leave the same day with a full set of functional teeth while your implants heal.
