Full & Partial Dentures

We’re sensitive to the physical and emotional challenges you face when losing your teeth. Part of the problem may be that you dread the thought of having to wear dentures because you’re afraid that they’ll be obvious to others and uncomfortable.

Dentures that look unnatural and don’t fit well can have a tremendous impact on your lifestyle. You certainly have better things to do than deal with the inconvenience of dentures that irritate and move around at the most awkward moments.

Beautiful Dentures Enhance Your Appearance

We’d like to help you rethink what you know about dentures. At Premier Dental, there is no one-size-fits-all denture. We specialize in creating beautiful dentures that look natural, fit comfortably, and enhance your appearance.

As a Board Certified Prosthodontist, Dr. Polina Simanovich has skills and abilities that other dentists don’t always possess. She is highly experienced in this area, allowing her to create the most realistic, durable dentures available today.

Before we take the first step in the dentures process, we will take time to talk to you about your expectations. You are part of the process every step of the way, and we work with you to customize your dentures so that they complement the shape of your face, your skin tone, and even your hair color!

Types of DenturesDenture model

There are basically two types of dentures:

Complete (Full) Dentures – We use complete dentures when all teeth are missing in the upper or lower jaw.
Partial Dentures – If you only have a few teeth missing, removable partial dentures are an effective solution when placed on either the upper or lower jaw. Partials are held in place with clasps that attach securely to neighboring teeth.

Complete and partial dentures are secured on a comfortable base of acrylic material, and both are completely removable.

Added Stability for Dentures

A common complaint among denture-wearers is slipping and shifting when speaking and eating. In the past, the only solution was messy adhesives, which are really not that effective.

Today, these problems can be eliminated with revolutionary implant-supported dentures. Dr. Simanovich surgically places tiny dental implants at strategic points along the jaw. The implants act as anchors and provide unprecedented strength and stability for the dentures attached to them.

Getting Used to Your New Dentures

Even well-made dentures will feel different than your natural teeth. Just like any other dental prosthetic, you can expect an adjustment period as you get used to these new sensations.

Eating soft or liquid foods when you start wearing your new dentures will help you get used to the mechanics of chewing with dentures. There is also a period of adjustment as you learn how to speak and smile with confidence. But our dentures fit so well, that within a few weeks your dentures will feel more like a natural part of your mouth.

Whether you’re getting dentures for the first time or have an old denture that no longer fits properly, please give us a call. Let us show you how we can restore your smile with beautiful, modern dentures.
